Schedule, reschedule, or unsend a merge

Queue an email merge for later, change that time, or stop a send that has not fully delivered yet. You need staff access to Email Merge for the building.

Schedule a send from compose

  1. Open Email Merge, select the building, then click Compose (or open a draft).
  2. Fill To, Subject, and the message as usual.
  3. Click Schedule.
  4. In Schedule send, pick a future date and time (within the next 90 days).Schedule send dialog with date-time picker — Schedule send dialog with Cancel and Schedule buttons
  5. Click Schedule.

Result: The mailing appears under the Scheduled tab with status Scheduled.

Reschedule or send early

  1. Open Email Merge and select the building.
  2. Open the Scheduled tab (or find the row under All).
  3. Click the scheduled mailing row to open the scheduled preview.
  4. To change the time, click Edit time, pick a new time, then click Update schedule.
  5. To send immediately instead, click Send now.
  6. To cancel the schedule and edit the content, click Edit email (this cancels the schedule and opens the draft in compose).

Result: The send time updates, the email sends now, or you return to compose to edit the draft.

Unsend during the pending window

If your account has 3-minute unsend window enabled (Settings → building → Communication → Email Merge → General → Draft & delivery), a just-sent mailing stays Pending briefly.

  1. Open the Pending mailing from the list (or the detail that shows Sending in).
  2. Click Cancel sending.
  3. In Cancel sending?, confirm with Cancel sending.

Result: The email is not delivered. You can also click Send now in that dialog to skip the remainder of the hold and dispatch immediately.

Tip: After the countdown ends, Cancel sending is no longer available. Calendar-scheduled mailings use Edit email / Edit time instead of the pending unsend flow.
